What we would tell you about this set
The helmet almost never stays on, and we plan for that. Babies dislike anything over the face and toddlers remove it within seconds, so the shot list treats the helmet as a prop to hold rather than to wear. The frames where a child is peering into the helmet, or wearing it sideways, are consistently better than the ones where it is on correctly.

Does my child have to wear the helmet?+
No, and most do not. Babies dislike anything over the face and toddlers remove it within seconds, so the shot list treats the helmet as a prop to hold rather than to wear. The frames where a child is peering into it or wearing it sideways are consistently the better ones.
The set looks dark. Will my child be frightened?+
The room is lit normally between setups and only the frame itself is low-key. If a child is unsettled by the dimmer lighting we raise it and adjust the grade afterwards — a slightly less moody result is a fair trade for a comfortable baby.
What ages suit this set?+
Three months to about four years. Newborn frames use the crescent moon prop rather than the suit.
